Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and ExamCoach AI ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms govern your access to and use of the ExamCoach AI mobile application and website.

If you are under 18 years of age, you must have parental or guardian consent to use this service. By using the service, you represent that you have obtained such consent.

2. Description of Service

ExamCoach AI provides an AI-powered educational preparation platform that includes:

• AI-generated practice quizzes based on NCERT curriculum content
• AI-generated CBSE-pattern question papers
• AI study notes in multiple Indian languages
• A multilingual AI tutor for academic doubt resolution
• NCERT chapter reading and progress tracking features

The service is available in Free and Pro subscription tiers as described on our pricing page.

3. Account Registration

To use ExamCoach AI, you must create an account using your mobile phone number. By creating an account:

• You confirm that the phone number belongs to you or you have explicit permission to use it
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at support@examcoachai.in
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Free Plan

The Free Plan is available at no cost with usage limits as described in the app. We reserve the right to modify Free Plan limits at any time with reasonable notice.

Pro Subscriptions

Pro subscriptions are offered on monthly, quarterly, and annual billing cycles and are processed through Google Play. By subscribing:

• You authorise Google Play to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes
• We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days advance notice to existing subscribers

Cancellation and Refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time through Google Play settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Pro access until then. We do not offer refunds except where required by applicable law or Google Play's refund policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use ExamCoach AI only for lawful educational purposes. You must NOT:

• Use the service to generate content for academic dishonesty, cheating, or plagiarism
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or scrape the service
• Share your account credentials with others or use another person's account
• Attempt to bypass subscription limits or access Pro features without a valid subscription
• Submit unlawful, harmful, or offensive content through the AI tutor
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable Indian laws or regulations

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination without refund.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of ExamCoach AI — including but not limited to software, UI design, logos, text, and original content — are the exclusive property of ExamCoach AI and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

NCERT textbook content used within the app is published by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (Government of India) and is used in accordance with their published usage terms for educational purposes.

AI-generated content (quizzes, notes, papers) produced for your use remains available to you as a user but may not be resold, redistributed, or published commercially without our written consent.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

ExamCoach AI is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure
• AI-generated content is 100% accurate, complete, or suitable for every examination
• Use of the service will guarantee any particular exam result or academic outcome
• The service will meet your specific educational requirements

ExamCoach AI is a preparation aid. Academic success depends on many factors beyond the use of any single app.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ExamCoach AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or exam failure, resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the use of ExamCoach AI shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months prior to the claim.

9. Privacy

Your use of ExamCoach AI is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our data practices.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by requesting deletion through our Account Deletion page. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if:

• You violate any provision of these Terms
• Your use of the service creates legal risk or liability for us
• We are required to do so by law

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via an in-app notification. Continued use of the service after notification of changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
